"Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore..."

Well, Vicki and the kids drove down from Kansas last week to visit their "Uncle Creighton (aka Eyeball), Auntie Casey and Baby Marshall." We had a great visit and Vicki got a lot of "back-to-school" chores knocked-off her list since Leavenworth doesn't have much in the form of retail options. I also hosted a Tastefully Simple party while she was here. It was a great time and very successful for being so last minute!

During our shopping trip to the mall, there was this cool, bouncy apparatus that Elizabeth and Austin had a blast doing...it was the least we could offer them after a very long day of shopping. Austin was bouncing very high up, but it didn't seem to bother him...he just smiled but not even a laugh of glee! Definitely the son of a fighter pilot and E had a good time too, bouncing around to her heart's content. The videos are below, not the most exciting, but you get the picture.

We also got to visit Grandma Maureen's community pool. Marshall really could care less about the whole experience but the kids LOVED the slides. We had a great time, until the thunder began and the bottom fell out of the sky.
