I finally had to admit that my son's adorable little duck tail curl in the back of his head was officially turning into a rat tail, sigh. So we were off to our first hair cut at Cool Cuts 4 Kids in an attempt to set ourselves up for success. Since he'll endure a lifetime of these things we didn't want him to be terrified after his first experience. Not to mention his dad was not a fan of his first hair cut and we have miserable pictures to prove it, I'm still looking for those to scan in.
This place was awesome, fixed with every distraction device you could think of to get any kid to sit still. Marshall was strapped into a fire truck chair with Elmo playing on a TV in front of him. Truly the only distraction was the movie Cars playing in the chair behind him, not the scissors or trimmer cutting around his ears...these people are genius! Marguita did a great job and we left with all smiles, a cute little certificate and a small baggie of hair. Now Marshall looks like a little boy, sniff, sniff....

I thought something looked different today!! CUTE! The hairdryer... ohmigosh, I love how he is trying to see through the blast of air! And then the next pic where he looks like he is so distracted by whatever has his attention that he seems disturbed by whatever is going on at the back of his head. Great post! I'm still in denial about Pip's crazy curls.
