Susan and sleepy MarshallThis post is a week late, but last weekend we had the pleasure of participating in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes in Plano, TX. My cousin Katy and friend Susan joined our Uphues fam for the 5K. The weather was perfect, Marshall got to wear his AWESOME yellow Adidas track suit (Thanks Morgan & Rebecca!), and Maggie was in heaven! We were walking for my 6 yr old niece, Elizabeth, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes this summer. We hope to have an even larger team of walkers and to raise even more money next year! Love ya Queen Elizabeth!
